After watching the movie, I feel so guilty that I had Big M for lunch 2 times and another one at Harvey's in the past week and a half.... in the name of convenice.

Another successful BBQ, weather was somewhat cloudy, but nothing we can't handle.

No, it's not about cleaning cloths or money laundry.

I was talking to my Uncle Nick last time in TO about making chew mew noodle. I told him I rinse the noodle in tap water before cook it on pan, and the noddle get really crispy....

Of course, worked as a chef, he knows exactly what I did wrong: the raising.

He explained that I should not do that, just put the noddle on a drain and loose it up with chop stick. The heat in the noddle stream out the moisture, and next time when I try it, the noddle stay soft and not like fry noddle.

My Pro Photographer/Multimedia friend Claude is in town and we went out for supper and some bubble tea.

I show him some of my digital picture and get some pro tips from him on my laptop, and he show me how to get better contrast and picture in general from my Canon Powershot s230.

It's a good day of rifting, nice weather, high water, and good fun with good company.

The weather is just right, not too cold and no bug since the season just started. All bugs are small and dead after the first night.

I have a BBQ at my place last Friday and took the time to experiment a bit with seasonings.

The steaks are spiced with Oregano leaf, black pepper, and salt, as suggested by Uncel Nick. The O leaf indeed tasted better over BBQ, but I think I can used some more salt.

The wings are done kind of Chinese way with corn stratch, gingers, rice wine, garlic, salt, and suger. No soy sauce was used since I was thinking of honey garlic wings at the beginning, but made a mistake of adding suger, which burn very easily over the grill.

Lesson learnt: no suger in meat for BBQ!

It's always fun to read about the future when people predicting it, no matter it's a high tech utopia, or a dark living hell.

Many life-styles mentioned in the post are already happening in various form today:
- mobile/home-base working allow a office worker to work from anywhere. In fact, Nortel has home-based emplyees for at least 4 years now. I can work out of the office in a limited way since I got the 7135. Actually, I was "kind of" working out of office (getting call, checking email) while bringing my car in for a windshield fix few weeks ago.
- WIFI/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/1xRTT allow user access to the internet anywhere and anytime. I made my first post via WAP a while back. The trend is only going to accularate, once they found how to integrate the service into our life and make it useful.
