07/10/31: Toys Shopping
So, Gphone is all the talks on the net right now, but before that happened maybe I will do some shopping first. I am in a shopping mood recently, after I bought a Mac mini (more to that when I get my hands on it). Yes, you are right. Guy does shop too. hehehe.
There are few new products coming out that caught my eyes and spark some interests.
1 - Nokia N810
2 - HTC touch
3 - FIC Neo1973
The N810 has great potential; A Internet tablet with 4.13" display, 802.11b/g WIFI, bluetooth, USB2.0, GPS, webcam, and slide-out keyboard. It is primarily for use in anywhere with WIFI hotspot right now for the net and as mobile media device. It will be much better if it equipped with mobile WiMAX/LTE/UMB. Maybe it can be used to replace current 2G cellphone service with VoIP provided by a carrier.
HTC touch is a current generation Windows Mobile based phone, with WIFI. It's has all I wish for from my Moto Ming. But I think it should have GPS for its form-factor, and the size a bit big when compared to Ming.
Neo1973 is kind of big, but it runs Linux. If it has a 2.0MP camera in the finally version, I might get one.
Others on the radar: oqo 01/02 (too expensive), Sony (again too expensive) , iPhone/iPod Touch (not really (yet) a Apple fan), HTC Shift (nice, but too big as a phone)
Ideally, I wish my next phone has about the same form-factor as Moto Ming, EDGE, WIFI, build-in GPS, and hand-writing input (especially for Chinese).

07/10/08: Evilly Biohazard Resident
[warning] slight spoiler below
I am not a game player these days, and never played Biohazard/Resident evil games.
But I like the movies. The first two Resident evil movies captured the mood of the games, while providing some pretty decent entertainment. The 3rd installment, and the last as claimed, actually feel very different.
There are the usual undead moments, like in so many zombie/undead/horror movies. But it's the big picture that interested me and make me wanting more as the story unfold and exposed more of what happened to project Alice, Umbrella Corp, and the rest of the human.
This episode reminds me of old computers Fallout and Wasteland some what, as the story is set in Nevada desert.
After spending an hour and a half in the theater, Some questions were answered, but more remain:
1) What is that safe heaven/uninfected place up Alaska?
2) What happened to those escape with the Helicopter?
3) What with Alice's super power?
4) What happened next? Toyko? Alaska?
5) What significant of all these DNA clones of Alice?
It sounds like more questions than answers..... and 2 more movies in this franchise if I am to predict; The most important of all questions: Will there be a more RE movie?

07/10/07: Wreak Shocked
A while ago, before the soccer season ended. One day a thought flash passed my mind while driving to the game:
"Geez, I better not get hurt this week..... I am going to Montreal on weekend."
Ok, that weekend I was suppose to go MTL with S and I was so looking forward to it. But I rarely used to think like that before, big things or small. I just don't considered the possibility that something happen and ruin things in life. It's not that I was fearless and all, in fact I am more and more careful after all these years.
I think I am getting old, and lost some edge. Sign.
