Sometimes you just don't know whether to believe what you've been told on the news. I mean, they may not be telling you lie, but the truth maybe far from a 5 minutes reporting can reveal.

We should all know by now war is ugly. Unfortunate things happen in a daily basis in these circumstances. It's all too confusing and the truth is so hard to tell, whether or not from the misleading "truth" .

Everyone should get the fact and be the judge for himself. It's the only fair way.

Soldiers are people as well, it does not matter what gender they are. This is particularly true in a country struggle for its survival for decades. Male and Female, all work to defend their country.

It's strong, but yet feminine.

Kids these days just too spoiled. They're living in a material-rich world, even just compared to a generation of kids before them. I don't remember my dad buy me a computer when I was a kid; he got the toy for himself and I just looking over his shoulder saying "please, please".

Heh, the good old days. I still remembered that one summer when I came back home with mom and my brother after spending the summer visiting relatives in Canada and the US. A strange looking boxes with TV sitting in the living room. It's called a "computer". (See here, a OSI C8P DF)

Being a kid, of course I told my friends in school about it. And of course, they don't belived me. It's way back then (the early 80's) when a computer is a gadget only live in anime and TV shows. But there is one sitting in our living room, how strange....

Anyway, kids these days must be watching too much Court drama (Ally McBeal maybe??) on TV.

I was just checking out alternative to my DSL connection from Sympatico the other day and found nothing that's give me better uplink..... that's 0.8Mb (~65KB/s after overhead and such). Hopefully, Bell's going to deploy FTTP soon.

So, this is the latest from the worldwide 2-way web.

Podcasting basically uses RSS to publish multimedia bits. The RSS feed contains a "enclosure" that point to a audio track, one can download it later (ie overnight) for listening. Currently it is for audio blogging, your own radio/talk show kind of thing. The original idea is for iPod and other mp3 players, but I'm sure it will be much more in the future.

iPodder is the application that people put together to do podcasting.

Google begins as a web search company, started by 2 researcher in Stanford with seed money from VC.

It grows and evolve into a big monster today; search (of course), email, newsgroup, news, translation tool, what not you got, and of course - IPOed.

Rumor has it going to go into browser too, it won't be long before it's into the like of Yahoo and Microsoft. It's cool to see Google is powered by the most advanced technologies, from Linux on cheap PC to many in-house software.

From the look at the bright people it employs, it must be a cool company to work for, if you have the calibre.
